I have SEVEN POINTS to make concerning Roe vs Wade. The original court decision was made in 1973, almost fifty years ago. I was only ten years old and didn’t understand what it meant and we really didn't hear or talk about it because at ten, in 1973, we did not discuss sexuality unless an inappropriate, inebriated adult spoke of it. So let me tell you something else about 1973. It was nothing like it is today.
POINT #1: SCIENCE OR LACK THERE OF. We knew very little about the development of a fetus or to what extent the baby developed in the womb. Ultrasound imaging may have been used for medical purposes but not yet common for expectant mothers, so we didn’t know a lot about what a baby looked like in the womb. We were just beginning to understand that the baby could physically feel, hear or respond to outside stimuli. All these unknowns about the developing baby, made the court decision ALMOST understandable. But since that time, it was discovered the child has physical reaction to touch and if a probe is introduced, the child flinches or retracts, all while in the womb. Then it was discovered the child reacted positively or negatively based on the mother’s emotion, surroundings and experiences. There was a time when scientists encouraged mothers-to-be to place headphones on their belly to play classical or soothing music for the baby because studies showed babies with this womb experience tended to have better development after birth. It became clear these babies are viable human beings who can pick up on surrounding vibes and comprehend much more than we ever thought possible. Also, it was highly suggested fathers speak direct to the baby while it was in the mother’s belly because it generated a positive reaction from the baby. The baby reacted to the father’s voice and it shortened the bonding time between baby and father after birth. Fathers would speak and sing to the unborn baby. Now they downplay all of this and we haven’t heard these suggestions in years. You think it might be to keep women from realizing the actual, living person they’re carrying? Do you think we don’t discuss communicating to the baby while in the womb so we don’t contradict the left’s dismissal of the FACT that life begins at conception and is a living PERSON? POINT #2: BIRTH CONTROL. Another thing that has changed since 1973 is birth control availability and cost. At that time, there was limited birth control options. The options for birth control were nothing like it is today and they were not easy to obtain. Neither insurance nor government paid for birth control. If you wanted birth control, you had to pay for it out of your own pocket and usually it was up to the woman. Today birth control is varied and easily available. You have access to tons of different birth control, even pills to take even AFTER sex (the morning after pill) and it’s easy to purchase because insurance and government subsidies pay for it. In some cases, I believe schools provide birth control, so there’s no excuse to NOT take advantage of these options BEFORE killing a baby. POINT #3: MY BODY, MY CHOICE. Yes, women have a choice and the choice is to KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED. You have a choice to NOT sleep with a man or if you do 'choose' to sleep with one, use birth control (see point #2). That’s your choice. We live in a country where you are not forced against your will to have sex with someone and if someone forces themselves on you, they can be arrested. Sadly, there are countries where women are treated as sex slaves and are sold by their families at an early age. I almost understand abortion in these situations but not in a free America, where you have MANY other 'choices'. So, yes, women have the right to choose and that choice is to NOT HAVE SEX rather than kill an innocent, living human being that came into existence at conception. Let’s discuss conception. Conception is when a sperm and an egg unite to create a human. An egg only comes from a woman and sperm only comes from a man. I hate to blow your minds, but no, men don’t have eggs and women don’t produce sperm. That’s just the simple fact as it’s been for thousands of years. A man and a woman coming together is the way to create another human being and once they do and once that sperm and egg combine, life begins. Life begins at conception. At that time, it’s a person…. A living, viable human being. This is what God says about the unborn…. Jeremiah 1:5 - “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” POINT #4: ADOPTION. If you get pregnant and don’t want a child, there are a lot of people who would love to have a child. Women should carry the child full term and then place it for adoption. Let that child go to a loving family who are eager to receive a baby, a family that want to receive a baby rather than just destroy it. How selfish is it to kill a baby rather than give the baby life and give the gift of life to another couple? POINT #5: THE UNIMAGINABLE. We have proof that planned parenthood is selling baby body parts. The baby is sucked out of the womb after killing it or it can be on the table alive and they kill the baby in order to harvest and sell the body parts. This is a for profit business! We know this organization has donated millions and millions of dollars to the democratic party to keep their money-making machine going. Does this idea of selling lungs, heart, kidneys, eyes, tissue and other parts of precious innocent babies not disgust you? If harvesting and selling baby body parts does not disturb you, then your conscience may be seared. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 - But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron If this doesn’t bother you, your spirit may be dulled and you need to ask God for forgiveness and pray for Him to save your soul. God is waiting. He loves us and wants everyone to come to know him and be saved, but I can tell you, if you choose to serve the devil you will experience heartache, pain, destruction, sadness and misery. It might not come right away, but I promise you Satan cares nothing about you and only wants you miserable. We WILL live for eternity and hell is real. It might seem fun to serve Satan on earth but it will be unimaginable torture in hell. Give yourself to Jesus while you still have a chance. POINT #6: ABORTION WON’T GO AWAY. Let me try to get a little bit of knowledge and information through to the minds of the protestors and the people who are on the side of abortion and those who wish to continue to kill babies; the overturn of Roe vs Wade does not completely wipe out abortion. You can still kill the babies in your womb if you want. This will just let the people in each state decide whether they want to allow baby killing. So, if they outlaw it in your state, you can go to another state and sacrifice your baby to the idle of Planned Parenthood in the lie of healthcare. POINT #7: FORGIVENESS. I want to make this perfectly clear, if you’ve already had an abortion, there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, so if you come to Christ and ask for forgiveness than he is faithful and just to forgive. It’s just like divorce, Jesus doesn’t like divorce but he forgives that sin. Of course, he did allow divorce decrees but he didn’t give decrees to kill babies. He will forgive you of all your sins and we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, so if you had an abortion, I do not condemn or judge, because you can always ask God for forgiveness before judgement day. If and when we ask for forgiveness, those sins are under the blood and forgotten. Deuteronomy 30:19 - I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed Exodus 20:13 - Thou shalt not kill. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. This subject may be especially painful for me as a woman who wanted to have a baby but was unable. For whatever reason, I was not able to get pregnant and entered a happy marriage too late in life to adopt, so the sadness I feel for all the dead babies goes deeper than anyone can image, unless you've been in the same situation. PLEASE STOP BELIEVING THE DECEPTION AND STOP KILLING YOUR GIFTS FROM GOD. GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.

PERSPECTIVE
I have to admit, I’ve been concerned. Dare I say….fearful. The amount of death and destruction we’re witnessing is unprecedented for my generation and those younger than me. I realize previous generations have endured terrible events and I love and trust God, but I’m also human just like most, if not all, of you are. Below are scriptures I pulled out of the wonderful word of God. I can tell you that by the time I was halfway through these, I was ready to shout with joy and afterwards, I felt “peace that passes all understanding.” I knew while pulling these scriptures together that many people needed the same reminder. I pray you’ll read over these promises of God and be encouraged and strengthened as God intended because He loves us SO MUCH that He wants to comfort us and remind us or actually command us to FEAR NOT!! You can let me know in the comments if this blessed you and which is your favorite (if you can pick just one or two). “After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.” Genesis 15:1 KJV “And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.” Judges 6:23 KJV “I called on your name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit; you heard my plea, ‘Do not close your ear to my cry for help!’ You came near when I called on you; you said, ‘Do not fear!’” Lamentations 3:55-57 ESV ““Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things!” Joel 2:21 ESV “On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.” Zephaniah 3:16 ESV “Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.” Isaiah 44:2 ESV “Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I know not any.”” Isaiah 44:8 ESV “He laughs at fear and is not dismayed; he does not turn back from the sword.” Job 39:22 ESV “You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.’” Deuteronomy 3:22 ESV “You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,” Psalm 91:5 ESV “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Psalm 118:6 ESV “You came near when I called on you; you said, ‘Do not fear!’” Lamentations 3:57 ESV “And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.” Exodus 14:13 ESV “Say to those who have an anxious heart, “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”” Isaiah 35:4 ESV “Go on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”” Isaiah 40:9 ESV “Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.” Daniel 10:12 ESV “Do not fear the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid. Do not fear him, declares the Lord, for I am with you, to save you and to deliver you from his hand.” Jeremiah 42:11 ESV “and you shall not forget the covenant that I have made with you. You shall not fear other gods,” 2 Kings 17:38 ESV ““Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread.” Isaiah 8:12 ESV “You shall be hidden from the lash of the tongue, and shall not fear destruction when it comes.” Job 5:21 ESV “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8 ESV “And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands. Not a man of them shall stand before you.” Joshua 10:8 ESV “He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:8 ESV “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 ESV “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 ESV “Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31 ESV “Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Luke 12:7 ESV “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” 1 John 4:18 ESV “And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” Luke 2:10 ESV “But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”” Mark 5:36 ESV “So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”” Hebrews 13:6 ESV “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 ESV “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28 ESV ““So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.” Matthew 10:26 ESV “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”” Romans 8:15 ESV “casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 ESV “But Jesus came and touched them, saying, “Rise, and have no fear.”” Matthew 17:7 ESV “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last,” Revelation 1:17 ESV I can NOT STAY SILENT. I follow Jesus and have tried to dedicate my life to Him. I love people because God first loved me. I have studied the word of God and applied it as much as possible, but even Jesus, when he witnessed injustices was angry. Also the Lord has shown vengeance and anger more than once so, if this situation in Afghanistan, happening to innocent American citizens, heroic military and any man, woman or child, does not anger and sadden you, then you better check your pulse. You might be one of the ‘walking dead’. Perhaps you’ve become desensitized by watching movies with killing and torture. Or maybe you play evil computer games where you constantly kill and blow things up. Whatever the reason…. if our society doesn’t hold this admin accountable for the destruction this ‘pullout’ process has caused, then we are beyond redemption. I hate to say those words, because I know God can do ANYTHING He wants, but He will not push himself on people who refuse to hear/see truth. This is what has disturbed me about people calling themselves Christians, voting or supporting the Democrats. Anyone could see based on this man’s fifty year political career, that he was totally incompetent. He and his VP are puppets in the hand of Satan. They are carrying out the plan of the spirit of Antichrist right before our eyes and those who voted for them, have assisted. Most Christians would say this seems ‘harsh’ and unnecessary, but apparently SOMEONE needs to have the courage to speak TRUTH! I realize I will answer for many actions, but when I stand before the Lord and account for how I voted and how I participated in placing leadership over America, I will be able to say I stood up to stop the killing of innocent babies, I did not vote for a party that promotes unGodly sexual relationships, I did not vote for people who want to destroy marriage, I did NOT vote to allow Government to be my God and expect the Government to take care of me. Yes, there may be many things I will answer for, but I will NOT be responsible for advancement of the ISLAMIC/DEMONIC PROPAGANDA, RACIAL DIVISION AND OTHER LIES SPREADING THROUGHOUT OUR COUNTRY OR THE UNNECESSARY DEATHS of millions of people because of the evil agenda, incompetence, power/money-hungry Democratic Party. I understand the Republicans are not perfect, but at least they mostly stand for Biblical truths, in which our country was founded on and most will uphold our Constitution. I’m just an uneducated (Assoc Degree) GA girl whose family has fought in every American war going back to the American Revolution, but even “I” could have told this uncaring administration that the situation at the Kobul airport was and is a powder keg and ripe for disaster. I’ve been praying fervently for those in Afghanistan but read the Bible people… you’ll see there are consequences of human’s decisions when those decisions do not line up with the word of God. Sadly, when the president makes unGodly decisions, MANY OTHERS pay the consequences and we will ALL suffer the consequences because of him and because of those who helped get this man in office. This is only the beginning as long as we have a weak group in charge of our country. I hope the ‘snowflake, woke, socialists’ feel the pain of these ‘blown up’ individuals in Afghanistan, which will be on YOUR doorstep soon. I pray you have a pulse when you have to witness what will happen to Americans left behind in Afghanistan. Congratulations and by the way….everyone who voted for this miserable example of a human, owes the rest of us an apology. GOD BLESS AMERICA and I pray God’s mercy on those responsible for putting these people in office. I have been at a loss for words. I lost my voice this past year and haven’t written a blog in seven months. I haven’t had physical problems, but mental & emotional ones and by that I mean, I’ve been paralyzed and afraid of offending someone with anything I say. I could not find words to discern or gain a handle on the chaos happening in our country until now.
I realize now what has gone on with me and many others like me (i.e. white Christians). We are in shock. We are numb, frozen and terribly, terribly saddened. I’ll go as far as saying we’re terrified at what we’re experiencing. But I WILL speak out. We heard of the horrors of inequality and injustices against minorities in America, but people my age grew up in a world where most people tried to treat others equally. Do bad apples exist? Of course, there always will be bad ones…..in every ethnic group. Racism is not exclusive to white Americans. But for some reason, overnight it seems, we have been demonized by much of America. If you are a white American Christian conservative, the media and leadership in this country has called us the “biggest domestic terroristic threat.” Apparently ALL WHITES are now white supremacists and racist. Does that make sense to you? It doesn’t and shouldn’t but apparently does to someone. People are still alive who remember that kind of talk against the Jewish people. If you are my age (58) and not old enough to have lived through WWII, you certainly were taught about the Holocaust and the horrific results of the lies and hate for a race. It seems as though the entire country, including the media, are calling whites something they are not. The generation just before me and those my age did EVERYTHING in our power to make this country an inclusive country and rid it of inequality. We believed in treating everyone equally and with respect. We believed all should have the SAME opportunities in this country. We tried to provide extra help to the under-privileged, no matter a person’s background, age, gender or race. People should be treated the same by the law and by anyone who has a brain. We did not forget the poor. There are county health clinics, welfare, food stamps, free school meal programs, homeless shelters, affirmative action, etc. This country, including whites, have tried to assist all people. It has been this way for fifty years. So, not only do older adults have a grip on these concepts in this country, so do younger Americans. They have been raised in a country of equal opportunity. The innocent children have been living side by side with all ethnic groups for decades without issue, until now. I am disgusted by the school system and what they are teaching. I had no children, therefore, no reason to get personally involved in the local school system, so image my surprise when I realized how low we’ve gone. Where have the conservative parents been all these years? Or did this happen over night too? Equality has been written into the laws of this country but those of us who have accepted Christ have an even deeper understanding of equality. Christians understand that we are ALL made in the image of God and He created us equal, special and unique with VALUE. True Christ-followers, through the Holy Spirit strive to LOVE ALL and if you do not have love in your heart for your fellow man/woman, no matter their skin color, you are not truly born again. Bottom line. Sadly though, when you tell someone they are something long enough, they will believe it and become it. So, if you continue to tell whites they are racist….they will become what you tell them. This rhetoric MUST STOP! President Trump was NEVER considered racist until he disagreed with the democratic agenda. He was one of the most loved and respected men in America and the only person who could have a TV series called: The Apprentice, because he was the one person everyone would like to work for and learn from. He defended religious freedom, disagreed with aborting babies, wanted to put Americans first and wanted to keep government small and out of the individual’s personal life. Millions of Americans agreed with this, but as soon as he got in the way of the radical left’s power plans, they used the racist card on him. Why can’t people see this truth? Yes he’s crass and abrupt, but to be the most powerful man in the world and to deal with terroris, that’s what we needed! FREE government handouts is NOT a solution or equality. Equality is when every AMERICAN (not every person in the world coming here illegally) has the right to PURSUE happiness. The constitution does not ASSURE HAPPINESS…. It provides all persons the right to PURSUE IT. If you do not PURSUE happiness and success, it’s no one else’s fault. Trump supporters are NOT RACIST, but asking for everyone to own their responsibility in this country. The answer is not in ONE person but a group of leaders that believe this and are NOT simply power hungry. Promises and the desire for FREE stuff has blinded this country under the cover of ‘humanity’. It is NOT humane to allow men and women to sit around, unproductive, without a purpose, endlessly attending school. We are made to be PRODUCTIVE, CREATIVE, human beings. Allowing people to find their purpose and requiring them to PURSUE their dream is HUMANE, NOT handouts. True love lets adults learn to take care of themselves. ALL AMERICANS (white, red, yellow and black) have created the greatest country in the world and satan wants to destroy it. Do NOT LET HIM! Satan has come in with lies and is using people to create division and hate making the average person terrified and saddened to the core. Everything we’ve worked so hard for in America, is being destroyed in less than a year. Everything white conservatives say or do seems to be wrong, according to the media so people are saying nothing, but its time to SPEAK UP. STAND UP CHRISTIANS. FIND YOUR VOICE. DO NOT BELIEVE THE LIES! Come out of your silent slumber! God help us! Do not stand for this treatment and lies. If you witness an injustice or violet attack GET A VOICE - DO SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING! SCRIPTURE: “A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest”— Your poverty will come in like a vagabond And your need like an armed man.” Proverbs 6:10-11 NASB1995 https://www.bible.com/100/pro.6.10-11.nasb1995 “At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” Matthew 24:10-13 NASB1995 https://www.bible.com/100/mat.24.10-13.nasb1995 “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/eph.6.11.kjv “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 KJV https://www.bible.com/1/jhn.16.33.kjv ““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NASB1995 https://www.bible.com/100/jhn.3.16.nasb1995 ATTENTION!!! YOUNG WOMEN KNOW YOUR VALUE! If you have not been taught the word of God, please read it and/or attend a Bible class as soon as possible. If you’ve been in church your entire childhood, then you may want a refresher course. We all have a need to be appreciated, loved and wanted. When we look in God’s word, we find He meets all these needs through His Holy Spirit. And when we understand that truth, we learn to love ourselves. That’s when He will send a Godly man to love and respect you. This has been my experience. Even when He sends a man to fill our basic love needs, we must STILL keep that relationship with God FIRST. It all begins with knowing what God says about you. Here’s just a few....
You are the apple of his eye.... Zechariah 2:8 (kjv) For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. God LOVES you dearly.... Jeremiah 31:3 (nkjv) The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” He sent His son to die for you.... John 3:16 (nkjv) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. I can write about this because I was one who did not know her value. I suffered with self-loathing and depression as a teenager and young adult. I couldn’t see my physical beauty or my inner beauty. At a young age, I began to perform to obtain acceptance from others and was able to achieve great things later in my career and financially, but my personal choices reflected how little I thought of myself. I chose men who couldn’t hold jobs. Men who sold drugs. Men who abused me and treated me with no respect. I harbored terrible shame of my family and myself. I dated a drug dealer in high school (he had graduated) but I also had a friend whose brother worked at the Sherriff’s office. She told me the Sherriff’s office knew he was a dealer, knew my name and that I was dating him. We’d already been pulled over once by the police and had the car searched. I did not want to go to jail and didn’t want trouble, so I stopped dating him. I realized it was true... the people you associate with can build you up or tear you down so be careful who you run with. Sadly, Breonna Taylor may have suffered with this same problem. While I certainly did not know her personally, I am guessing, based on reports. Let’s learn from this horrible tragedy and teach our young ladies the importance of knowing their God-given value. We are all special because we are made in the image of God and this young lady was beautiful and professionally accomplished but she may not have made the best choices in men. The reports tell us, she dated a known drug dealer. He might have been her ex-boyfriend but that man used her address as his own, which is why the police were at her home. On the night she lost her life, she was either living with or had another young man staying overnight. This young man possibly knowingly shot at police and put everyone in danger. Now I’m not judging because I’ve made some of the same mistakes and I will not debate this but there is a witness who said the officers identified themselves and still the couple did not open the door. When they entered, the young man shot at police. There, but for the grace of God, go I. So please know I am not judging the young couple and not believing the police are as innocent as they claim, however; people judge you by the company you keep, like it or not. Please stay away from people who might commit a crime and especially if you know they ARE committing crimes. You can go to jail for JUST being in the same car. If we know who we are in Christ, we will wait and NOT live with or sleep with someone out of wedlock. I know that seems old-fashioned but God commands it for a reason. Trust me, its much better to be under the safety and spiritual covering of a man who knows, loves and serves God than sleeping with underserving men. Women need to understand their value in Christ, but can NOT think higher of ourselves than we should. Realize no one is better than you and no one is lower. We give honor where honor is due and submit to authority as God’s word instructs but treat everyone as equals. Romans 12:3 (nkjv) For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. Mark 12:30-31 (nkjv) And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” I repeat, we are all EQUAL in God’s eyes. Precious in his sight and we need to treat ourselves and others that way. These women of the Bible knew their value:
Ladies set your standards high and stick to it. Don’t give in to pressure or settle for less than God’s best and serve Him while you wait! May God bless you.
STOP THE MADNESS!
Before all the corona virus debacle I felt the church in America was working themselves to exhaustion. I observed people who meant well, but working, working, working by the sweat of their brow to implement projects, dreams, events, dinners, meetings, banquets, productions and whatever else would bring people to the church, instead of relying on the power of God. I understand the objective was a good one, which was to bring the unsaved to church to hear the good news of the gospel but it became too much. If one church started a new program, then others had to followed suit, in order to compete. In the meantime, the church became passive to destruction outside their own walls. Babies killed at an alarming rate, baby parts being sold, ungodly people in our government (local and national), ten commandments out of our courthouses and government offices, school shootings, sinful marriage legalized, pornography addicts working in the church and homosexuals in the PULPIT. Churches turned a blind eye and were too busy to combat the full-on assault against God. And the family.... well, they might see each other, briefly, on the drive to church.... that is, IF the family even rode together. I had never seen people so busy as before this virus. Both parents working fulltime jobs, running children to sports, dance, hosting elaborate birthday parties (each one more outrageous than the one before), playdates and on and on it went. They were so busy, they hardly had time to stop to be kind, have a conversation or even smile at the person at the grocery store or their next-door neighbor. There was NO TIME to slow down and God’s people were over-extending themselves at church too. Maybe these are reasons for the drop in church attendance in America... exhaustion outside the church and exhaustion inside the church. STOP THE MADNESS! It’s just too much! I don’t believe it’s what God had in mind. I don’t assume to know God’s mind, but I spend time with him and my heart has felt the heaviness of exhausted people, many months prior to the Corona Virus. The unsaved can see it too. Maybe they see Christians with tunnel vision, thinking the more they serve, the more Christ-like they will become. Sometimes quality suffers at the expense of quantity. If we, as born-again believers don’t slow down to hear from God direct, (not just from the pastor) but hear for ourselves directly from God, we are simply SPINNING OUR WHEELS. I’m THANKFUL for the wonderful churches I’ve attended and served in over the years, they were my lifeline but instead of being a refuge and hiding place, it can become another duty. Where is the time spent alone in God’s word, prayer, fasting and confessing sins (our own and others’)? Nehemiah prayed for the sins of the people and said “we” have sinned against you oh God. Have we become too tired to fight with prayer, fasting and groanings? The world needs to see genuine people who spend quality time with Jesus, having anguished over the things that break God’s heart. The CHURCH is NOT the answer to everyone’s needs; JESUS is! Let’s direct them to HIM and intercede! I’m sorry to see churches close, but I think it’s a time to REST, REGROUP and seek God’s objectives. Dreams, projects and plans are not necessarily bad, BUT DID IT COME FROM THE HEART OF GOD? Maybe I’m right and God felt the same way and it’s why He STOPPED THE MADNESS. We’re ordered to ‘stay home’ like a parent grounding a child. I urge you to REST IN THE LORD during this time and afterwards. Luke 10:38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord’s feet, listening to His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with [q]all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; 42 but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” The church in America became MARTHA. Please, let’s be MARY. Sit at the savior’s feet and receive rest, revelation and power! God bless you. PREPAREDNESS...
The time to prepare for emergencies is BEFORE the emergency. The time to prepare for battle is in times of peace. I’m thankful for a wise mother who instilled in me to be prepared. She didn’t tell me to ‘stockpile’ supplies but she told me to always have a little extra on hand. Her reasoning was that you never know what might happen. She would tell me NOT to wait until I was completely out before restocking. There were two reasons for this: 1) if you purchase items before running out you can look for it ‘on sale’ and save money and 2) in case of emergency, you have extra on hand. When everybody ran to the stores for supplies at the beginning of the pandemic, I already had extra toilet tissue, Kleenex, trash bags, non-perishable food, etc. I believe this wisdom from my mother was the result of what must have been difficult experiences. She was born during the great depression in 1933 and was a child during the stringent rationings of WWII. I’m thankful she taught me this principle. This is a great idea for our ‘physical’ needs but how much more important is it for our SPIRITUAL NEEDS? We must spend time in prayer and in God’s word every day and during times of peace to have a ‘well to draw from’ in times of need. It’s important to do like Psalm 119:11 (NIV): I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Just like we must prepare for emergencies in good times, we have to place the blood of the lamb on the doorpost of our homes when God gives the INSTRUCTION, not when the death angel is standing at the front door. Mike and I have been in our home almost eight years and immediately when we moved in, we asked dear friends from our old church to come pray over our home and ask God’s blessing. Our house was over fifteen years old when we moved in and we asked God to cleanse and purify our home of any evil. We wanted the only spirit allowed on our property to be the HOLY SPIRIT. More recently I used anointing oil (olive oil) on all door frames and walked the property line, sprinkling oil on the ground. I prayed protection over our property, our family and home. We asked God to bless and protect us. I was aware of this scripture: Psalm 91: 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. I’ve had a license plate frame on my car that states: “Angels are watching over me” for over twenty years and angels HAVE taken care of me on the roads! This is why, when the pandemic came along, it may have been unnerving but it didn't change my level of trust. There are many wonderful promises from God in the Bible and if we study it, we can know in our spirit what those promises are, especially during times of emergency. Start learning His promises today so you're always PREPARED. Learn the ones below and find your own in His word. We WILL get through this together. God bless you and keep you safe. Psalm 37:25 I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or his descendants begging bread. Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? Psalm 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Psalm 118:6a The Lord is on my side; I will not fear Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
How do we help our wayward friends and family? The ones we so desperately want to see accept Jesus as their savior? We all have people we wish would accept Christ and live in His service. What peace and assurance they could have and we could have, knowing their names are written in the lamb’s book of life. This is a question posed to me recently by a friend, concerned for a loved one. How do we reach them for Christ?
Do we preach to them? Do we leave scripture laying around ‘inconspicuously’ for them to find? Do we buy them Christian books? Do we trick them in to going to church with the promise of a free mug? What do we do? Our hearts break watching our loved ones navigate this sinful world without Jesus. First and foremost, are we a living testimony? Are we reflecting something they would want? God will help us examine ourselves and show us what needs correction in our lives. Are we walking in the fruit of the spirit: (Galatians 5:22) LOVE, JOY PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS AND SELF-CONTROL so others will be drawn to Jesus? Next, it can be hard, but do not judge. Only God knows the heart of man and their salvation status. Even if they openly denounce Christ, we still must not judge, but only reach out to them. Matthew 7:1-6 “Do not judge so that you will not be judged. 2 For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Then we can walk out our ‘great commission’. Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. John 3:17 For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. Our next clue is in..... Matthew 22:36-40 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 And he said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39And a second like unto it is this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets. Showing love to others will direct them to our Lord because He IS love. Okay, now we have the first parts of the puzzle.... 1) Examine ourselves; 2) Do not judge and 3) LOVE. How do we love the unlovable, you ask? How do we show love when they strongly oppose us or perhaps, they’re simply apathetic? Well, I’m glad you ask. The answer is found in the next step. Luke 24:48-49 Ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I send forth the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city, until ye be clothed with power from on high. John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. Acts 1:8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Puzzle piece #4 is to bath ourselves in the Holy Spirit. This is our power needed to reach others. We can ask the Holy Spirit to empower us to have a heart of LOVE for all those around us. He will help. Step #5 is something Jesus practiced often and so must we if we are to receive POWER. Luke 18:1 Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart. PRAY for our loved ones regularly and finally, leave those loved ones in the hands of Jesus and ‘do not lose heart.’ Below are the six steps and I most assuredly will NOT call them six ‘EASY’ steps because they can be, extremely difficult, but in the long run, they will bring peace in the midst of chaos. 1. Search ourselves and remove the log in our own eye (i.e. sin) first. 2. Do not judge. 3. Love. 4. Ask the Holy Spirit for the power and ability to love others and to live a life that’s a witness to the goodness of God. 5. Pray for not only our lost loved ones, but for a lost world, EVERY DAY! 6. Let go and leave them in Jesus’ hands. Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 2019 – ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING YEARS OF MY LIFE
I want to give gratitude for a wonderful year and all the supportive people who made it that way! It would be difficult to name everyone individually but you know who you are. I stand in awe of Jesus, his great mercy and his dear servants. It was one of the most mind-boggling years I’ve experienced. The year was not without challenges, though. When I published my book, Lord Of Our Emotions, in 2018, I encountered a spiritual attack. I believe the attack was in direct opposition to the book which would become my ministry. I acquired an allergic rash that no cream would cure (dermatologist tried at least eight creams) so finally I decided to go to the Allergist, but not until the end of 2018. They conducted a patch test by placing large pieces of paper and dots on my back. The timing was such that I was wearing the patch over new year’s 2018 into 2019. It was discouraging to start 2019 that way, however; I discovered what I was allergic to and with extensive research and trial and error I figured it out and the rash disappeared (or I was delivered and prayers were answered, whichever way you prefer to look at it -- I think both). In January 2019, our sweet Jack Russell Terrier, Elle Bell had a life-threatening liver problem. She stayed at the vet for several days but then the prayers of our fabulous prayer warriors kicked in and she recovered and is a happy, healthy 12-year-old dog (soon to be 13)! THANK GOD FOR PRAYING FRIENDS! In February my husband and I went to court with Mom in a continuing effort to remove a squatter from her rental property. He was finally removed by Dekalb County Sheriffs in May, after what had been a yearlong process. However; the property was left with mounds of trash, inside and out. A couple of weeks after the eviction, Mike (my husband) and I drove (an hour) to the property one Saturday morning only to discover it was vandalized with water pouring from a pipe in the basement. Mike was able to stop the water flow but someone dumped additional trash (roofing material, old hot tub, etc.) on the property, so Mom (with me taking the lead) sold the house in as-is condition. When I arrived for the final walk-though in July I found a death threat. The renter worked at a barbershop and apparently left a mannequin head (that had NOT been there previously) with a blonde wig and a hole in it, as if it had been shot between the eyes. I knew it was a message for me and it was disturbing and terrifying but what they didn't know was, that day would be the LAST time I had to set foot on the property. The fear of that took a toll on me but God soon delivered me from the spirit of fear, on many different levels. At the same time, I was dealing with the property, I was completing, publishing and marketing my book. It was obvious I was under spiritual attack but I learned to take authority and dominion over spoken curses and I learned to bind the attacks of darkness, in Jesus’ name. God is my defender; in Him will I trust. For those who’ve read my book, you will remember this being the house of my great aunt and uncle, where I lived as a toddler for a while, where my Mom & Stepdad dragged us every weekend when I was 5-12 years old and where I lived in my twenties. I KNEW evil was present, I just didn’t realize to what degree. PRAISE GOD it’s over and one less thing my 87-year-old mother has to deal with. In spite of the enemy’s efforts, I was able to get my book out to the world. I spoke at two different Hometown Novel Night events, conducted a book signing at BARNES & NOBLE in Newnan. I had two book signings at Corner Arts Gallery, spoke at our women's prayer group at church and two articles where published in the local newspaper about my book. Finally and most shockingly, I was interviewed on TV on ATLANTA LIVE, WATC TV! I managed to survive the interview and get my point across. All this took place in 2019. God is AMAZING! My heart overflows with joy when I think about the support of my church family through these events. They showed up for book signings, speaking engagements and wrote wonderful reviews. One sweet lady even gave a copy to her family member while she was in Japan, so I’m officially international. I had to stop typing to compose myself because I began to cry thinking of the goodness of God. While I was writing the book, Mike and I continually said, “If just one person reads it and is helped, that would make it all worth it.” I said that to override the voice of the enemy who continually whispered: “No one will read your book.” I am blessed to say MANY people have read my book and been encouraged. My sweet husband started driving a school bus this year, thereby finding ‘his ministry’ (outside all he does for our church). Sadly, we experienced a great loss this year when Pastor Randy Valimont moved from this world to the next. He is celebrating, but our hearts will ache for a long time. Sad to think there will be no new earthly sermons by this great pastor. Mike and I took a lovely vacation to North Carolina the week of Thanksgiving, Mom visited us a few days at Christmas and the cherry on top of this wonderful year was bringing in 2020 at a dear friends’ house. We ate, worshiped in song and prayed in the new year! I’m excited to see what God plans for 2020. He’s already opened new doors. I hope to see you at one or more of my upcoming 2020 events (see Author Events Page). If a girl like me who didn’t believe, nor care if she lived past thirty, can be joyful in her old age (57) and be used of God to spread the good news of Christ’s redemptive power, ANYTHING is truly possible. My prayer is that YOU will have faith in what God is calling you to do. Cling to the hem of his garment my friend. Now unto him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen. (Eph. 3:21-22) For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee (Ps. 86:5) THE LORD SEEKS THOSE WHO SEEK HIM
Proverbs 8:17 (KJV) I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. James 3:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. DON'T LET THIS BE THE LAST DAY OF YOUR DAILY TRUTHS -- SEEK GOD EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR, QUOTE HIS WORD AND PUT ON THE ARMOR! YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER IN CHRIST JESUS! I WILL DEDICATE MY MIND, BODY AND SOUL TO THE LORD
Romans 12:1-2 I urge you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Psalm 1:1-3 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked. Nor stand in the path of sinners. Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither, and in whatever he does he prospers. I CHOOSE TO WORSHIP THE LORD – NO MATTER WHAT
Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” 2 Chronicles 20:22 And when they began signing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, so they were rerouted. Exodus 34:8 Moses made haste to bow low toward the earth and worship. |
